Red Dragon Entertainment is one
of the rising stars of the Memphis music industry. We are a full-scale,
independent music company that specializes in producing, developing, and
distributing music from artists of a diverse group of genres.
Officially
established in 2008 by its parent company Vexel Multimedia, our record
label has a growing roster of original, new talent covering a variety of music
genres: Rap, Pop, Gospel, Country, Neo-Soul, and more. Artists on the roster
enjoy the respect and praise of hardened music lovers, journalists and industry
insiders. Our directors bring over 20 years’ combined music industry experience
to the group. This experience covers music & studio production, artist
management, music sales and A&R.
Our Label is
about getting our artists' music heard by as many people as possible. Many in
today’s industry are so driven by money that they spit in the face of what music
is really about. If we can combine the fundamentals of the business with the
huge amount of talent on our label’s roster then Red Dragon is guaranteed to be
a major player in the industry by excelling to new heights. Our passion for
music is our foundation and it enables us to identify, develop and pursue
traditional and new avenues to achieve this. We are aware that sometimes
traditional approaches and ideas can't be adapted to suit new trends, so we are
not afraid of creating new solutions when addressing the forever-changing
landscape at the cutting edge of music distribution. We like to think out of the
box. We like to try new mediums which showcase our artists' talents, for them
and for lovers of new and original music.
Red Dragon Entertainment has assembled a strong
executive team with both major and independent record label experience and has
built a dedicated staff of professionals. By leveraging its established
distribution and marketing capabilities, Red Dragon Entertainment has been able
to rapidly capitalize on the widening gap between major and independent labels
by catering to both established talent, production companies and franchises, as
well as emerging artists. Red Dragon Entertainment has strategically positioned
itself to successfully develop and market artists which do not (or no longer
want to) fit the major-label mold, but who are also beyond the operating
capabilities of smaller independents.
